About - Classic Car Restorers, West Sussex, Restorations, Classic Car Repair Services
As a business we are proud to be small enough to give a personal and tailored service whilst having premises big enough to have the necessary equipment to be focused on your car and the work required on it.
Our company is run and staffed by people all with a passion for classic & vintage cars. We own and run various classics ranging from a Triumph Spitfire and a classic Mini through to a Jaguar XJS convertible and a Matchless motorbike and many in between.
We all drive our classics on a regular basis, and thus understand the varied requirements that classic car ownership brings. Our passion and experience means your car can benefit from a full range of services which include general servicing of your car through to partial or total restorations.

Meet the staff:
Richard Stubbs is the main bodywork specialist. Nothing phases Richard in this regard be it panel fabrication or welding of new panels etc. he takes it all in his stride.

Richard has recently finished two of his own restoration projects, a Spitfire Mk1 that he restored for his wife and a Mk2 Ford Capri 3L JPS, beast of a car! Now he just has the convertible Jaguar XJS he's just bought to restore.
Sadie Baker specialises in mechanics but is an accomplished body worker as well, not to mention an accomplished veneering specialist. We have signed Sadie up to study the NVQ in mechanics at a local college and she is also studying the City & Guilds Welding course focussing on MIG and TIG welding. So far she has Levels 1 and 2 in MIG and Level 1 in TIG.

Sadie is a bit camera shy! She's a big classic motorbike fan as well as classic cars. But here first love is classic bikes and she regularly goes to bike shows.
Beau Baker another skilled mechanic and bodywork specialist. Currently he has a particular passion for welding Rover P5Bs! Well, OK, we've got 3 P5Bs in at various stages of restoration and we've had him do all the welding on them! But he is just fantastic at it. He's currently welding a Ford Cortina Mk1 as a change of scenery!

Beau is a massive Mini fan. Is that an oxymoron? He has owned many Minis both classic and modern and has restored two classic Mini vans to an exceptionally high standard of finish. They look excellent, and his engine tweaks ensure they go as well as they look! One has had the full stage 3 treatment, this he did for his wife, and the other is his car and he has gone beyond Stage 3, far, far beyond Stage 3! Turbo fitted and much more besides. His daily drive is a modern BMW Mini and he is skilled in servicing these as well.
Adam Langley Adam is a recent school leaver having only just taken his GCSEs. He is our new part-time member of staff. I know of very few 15 year olds willing to give up some of their holiday to come and get some work experience before starting a college course in mechanics, least of all keen to work on cars made years before they were born. These days if you can't plug it into a computer to be told the problem, they don't usually want to know!

Keeness like this is not to be ignored, so we snapped him up. We're keen to pass on our expertise to the next generation as otheriwse the skills to restore these cars will die out. Once he has taken his first year at college and from the September 2011 college year we will take Adam on as an apprentice which is an exciting prospect for all of us.
