Deadlines looming - 24th Feb 2011

As usual there is so much going on at the moment that I really haven't had the time to get any updates on the system. Even as I write this there are several pressing jobs that I need to get done.

As spring moves nearer so do some deadlines that I'm keen not to miss. The Triumph Spitfire 2liter or GT6 Roadster depending on your view point is supposed to be away by the end of this month and the carburettors have still not arrived.

The Austin A35 is also planned to be leaving in the next month after a rather prolonged restoration. Just the last few parts to fit and it's away!

Also on a tight deadline is Rover P5B#2 "GOV" which many people will know hasn't had the smoothest of runs through the workshop. This is due out in around 30 days.

The red Spitfire 1500 is in for engine and cosmetic improvements. This too has a limited time here because the owner quite justifiably wants to be able to be out on the road doing some serious posing this spring not waiting for us to finish the various jobs!

Not on a deadline but still creeping forwards are the vintage Rover 10HP ( Snowdrop) which is planned to be away to the painter in the next month or so, and the MK 3 Spitfire which is almost ready for painting as well.

By the way, there is now an update for the VW Karmann Ghia on our web site projects page.
