In many ways the past seven days have been very successful. It's also been slightly frustrating as I have frequently been off of the shop floor.

The main project at the moment is the second of our Rover P5B coupes ( GOV). This is more fully written up on the projects page. I have to say that getting the paint re-done was a good move, as was having our local trimmer make up an accurate replica set of carpets. All the parts now going on are bringing the car back to life. We are currently waiting for the illusive engineer to arrive to tell up what's happening to the up-rated engine.

In the meantime we have sent the spares that he needed down to him so that he can continue the work.

Elsewhere the MK3 Triumph Spitfire is moving along nicely. The main body tub has been braced up for some time but now we needed to get the body bolted to the chassis ready for welding up.More of this on the projects page.

The Triumph Stag has also received attention in the past seven days with a reconditioned hood and frame plus  an uprated  header tank for the cooling system. See the Spitfire projects page. The rusty stain at the bottom of the engine bay is nothing serious- just water staining from the old cooling system which will be cleaned off.
